Interim Twilight School Coordinator - Qualifications: must hold or be able to obtain NC Licensure (9-12), preferably in a core academic area. Experience in the development & coordinaton of support services for at-risk student populations preferred. Knowledge & experience in working with NCVPS, academic credit recovery programs, & tutoring services preferred. Also preferred: strong verbal & written interpersonal skills, ability to work with students from economically & educationally disadvantaged backgrounds, & students with disabilities, & ability to work a non-traditional school day schedule. Responsibilities: Individual will work 11:30AM - 7:00PM. Individual will be responsible for enrolling & monitoring of students in distance learning courses; facilitate credit recovery options for studewnts making up credit during Twilight School. Individual will be required to maintain close communication with administrators, grade level counselors, & data manager. Drop out, course failure & PEP data collection & compilation will be required. Schedule & facilitate PEP meetings for students as needed. Salary: Individual will be paid substitute rate of pay until the teacher's paid leave ends. Upon exhaustion of paid leave, individual will be paid in accordance wtih the State Salary Scale. Position will begin January 2011 & end upon completion of the 2010-2011 school year. Bus Drivers & Substitute Bus Drivers - Must have a Commercial Driver's License (Class B with School Bus Endorsement), a good driving record, a minimum of six (6) months driving experience, and be 18 years of age or older. $12.89 per hour. Cafeteria Substitutes - Qualifications: High school diploma required. Prior experience in food service preferred, but not required. Responsibilities: Employee will serve as a substitute for cafeteria staff on an "as needed" basis. Employee may rove between schools as assigned by the Child Nutrition Director. $10.69 per hour. No benefits. Application deadline: Until Filled.

Afterschool Group Leaders - Qualifications: Experience working with school age children preferred. Ability to work well with school age children (Kindergarten through 5th grade), school, staff, & parents. High school diploma required. Must be able to work every day, Monday through Friday, 2:15-5:30PM on school days through June 11, 2011. Responsibilities: Group leacers will supervise & mentor an assigned group of children ages 4-12 years old, ensure student safety & compliance with school & licensing rules, policies, & standards. In addition, they will plan & implement educational, recreational, & enrichment activities. Group leaders are also accountable for other job-related duties as assigned by the Site Director.
